Setif [#1] The Ancient Mosque: an Ottoman Heritage سطيف (1) المسجد العتيق رمز للفن العثماني الاسلامي

تشتمل ولاية سطيف على الكثير من المواقع الأثرية ذات الأهمية الحضارية والتاريخية والتي تتوزع على كل ربوعها متحدثة بلسان حالها عن أيامها الخالية وحضاراتها المتعاقبة من عصور ما قبل التاريخ إلى أيام المستدمر الفرنسي والتي تشكل في مجملها مادة دسمة للمؤرخين والباحثين المهتمين بتوثيق أخبارها وحفظها كتراث حضاري لا يقوم بمال ولا يعوض.

يعد جامع العتيق بمدينة سطيف الجزائرية، نموذجاً فريداً من تاريخ العمارة العثمانية و درة في تاريخ المساجد الأثرية بالمدينة، و دليلاً قويا على ما وصلت إليه الحضارة الإسلامية في العصر العثماني بالشمال الإفريقي. و يتميز هذا الجامع بزخارفه الإسلامية العثمانية البديعة التي جعلته أحد النماذج النادرة للفن و العمارة الإسلامية بسطيف بدولة الجزائر، فبمحافظته على معالمه الأصلية منذ نشأته سالمة، ميزة هامة أهلته عن جـدارة بأن يمثل أحد العينات النادرة، حيث تجلت فيه متانة البنيان، و دقة الهندسة و جمال فن العمارة الإسلامية. أما البصمة العثمانية فهي الأوضح و الأبقى من خلال هندسة الجامع و بقاياه الأصلية كالزخارف من الداخل و الخارج و بعض النوافذ، بالإضافة إلى بعض الآيات القرآنية بداخله و في مختلف زواياه، أما بالنسبة للتخطيط الداخلي للجامع فهو عبارة عن قسمين به شق قديم، ذو شكل مستطيل و شق جديد، ذو شكل قريب من المربع مهيئين للصلاة كما به محراب و هو باقة من الزخرفة تبهر العين بقدر ما تسحرها.

و تشير إحدى المراجع، أن الجامع العتيق هو أول المعالم و الوحيد الذي شُيد بمخطط عمراني فريد عن عمارة المساجد الإسلامية المعهودة في بلادنا منذ الفتح العربي الإسلامي لشمال إفريقيا خاصة مئذنته التي ما زالت تشهد إلى اليوم عبقرية الفن الإسلامي.
